FRANS Product Development was started by Frans van Boekel in December 2000, under the name HS Development.
In December 2009, the name was altered The current name fits the activities better.

The activities are wide. The portfolio bears witness to that. The activities range from concept development via design, engineering, FEA checks, detailing, industrialization to project management. We have worked for a wide range of clients: SMEs but also large companies.

In the period between 1990 to 1999, Frans was responsible for product development at Eurotool, the current Synventive, a producer of hotrunner systems. A producer of hot runner systems .

Frans has a Master of Science from the Technische Universiteit van Delft, Faculty of Industrial Design. Before this, Frans did Mechanical Engineering at the Hogere Technische School in Den Bosch.
